Good morning all, its a very chilly 37 degrees with an adjusted altitude of -1450. Stock has just been called to the lanes.
I found a few more random photos, I will try to get more today. |

Thanks Walt, what a crazy first round. The sun was at a point in the sky that made it tough to see. I was extremely lucky, besides my late light, I put a 10.60 on my window, instead of a 9.60. I don't know where my head was at. That was one round I did not deserve to win. Lucky for me Dempsey red lighted.
The good drivers seem to adjust fine, but there was some very late lights along with a fair amount of red lights. There were two no shows in the mandatory first three pair, I know NHRA let the competitors know they were first out in the morning, so I do not know why they were not on time, or if they were broke. Super Comp is just about done, Super Stock is next. Be back later with more..... |

Looks like some great racing in the Eliminator. Congrads to Ken Miele, Emily Volkman, Andy Fogle, some of the good guys that I am familar with, among others in the Sportsman pits.

Well I am sitting at the back gate posting. We had a great run This morning but boy was it cold. On the 3 designated pairs 1st round--Waibel and Kenny were broke, but Ortiz came up, but was late so his opponent got a single. Gary Richard was broken this morning also. He broke in class yesterday. Well Stock led off this morning and we are last out tonight. But I am thankful just to be there.
We are having a great time here in Florida. It has warmed up and is really nice this afternoon. All Mopar racers are invited to a barbq this evening from 4-6. Thanks Mopar! I will try to get some pics. I am still having trouble with Photobucket, but I am going to try to upload some pics I took today and will post them later. Patsy |
