Have a friend thinking of building a 69 Nova 396/375 rated at 395 (401 head)
It's a Automatic car. What class will fall into and what will it need to weigh with driver? Thanks, Ken would the 402/405hp be the way to go? Last edited by KEN BUGAJ; 08-05-2007 at 04:08 PM. |

Kenny, the 402/405 (70 combo) has been reduced to 395. they both weight the same A/SA 3330, B/SA 3525 and C/SA is 3725. The combo is basically the same except the exhaust valve is a little bigger in the 402. Tough classes with lots of fast cars in A-B/SA.
Good luck

Ken...get in touch with Steve Koppien, he has some of the nicest & fastest A/SA - B/SA 69 Nova's & 69 Camero's....he is one of the premier 396/375 engine builders around.
