Merry Christmas everyone!
I know this is about like asking what oil and what weight... but here goes. I am looking for a used trailer, need more space than my old 24'... as I will be hauling a Jr. Dragster and ATV along with the stocker. I am looking for a 28-32' tag on a budget!. What brands do you like, and why? Who to stay away from and why? I have had and been around Pace, Vintage, Haulmark, Interstate over the years. What about Cargo Mate? I see quite a few of these for sale, but do not know anyone that has one, and do not know much about them? thanks Ken |

Vintage all the way, Troy Stone is at every div 3 race. He owns Vintage and will handle any problem in a professional matter.

I have a Wells Cargo and you may find them around your area, since they have/had a mfg. facility in Texas.

I would look closely at the wheels, tires, and axles on a longer heavier trailer. 6 hole wheels are normally 5K axles, and are much better than the 3500 axles which are 5 X 4.5 wheels and has larger bearings. The 8 hole a 6K and usually has 16" wheels. Has the same larger brakes, and has 8 lugs, and a larger outer bearing than the 5K. 15" tires on a28 or larger trailer are a little doubtful, especaially if you are traveling any distance. Hope this helps.

Ken,
Listen to what Jeff is saying, about 5 vs 6 lug rims & brakes ? Very important on a 24' & over Box , you can get away with 5 lug on an open trailer .. Safety First !!! (Look for 16" ) Good Luck, hope you are doing well? Happy Holidays !!!! Dave,

A buddy of mine bought a 15 year old Featherlite. The quality is amazing.
