I race at alot of the outlaw races around my area!!! Its the hottest thing goin in this area, but i will say this alot of the wrecks around here are bad driving and horrible track prep and\or not respecting the vehicle!!! You see guys gettong out of shape and romping the throttle with those little tires!! I saw a limited street car wreck his car 3 times in a month and all cases were bad driving and even he admitted it!! My old man always taught me from day 1 if it gets loose or out of shape get out of it....its not worth wrecking, hurting yourself or others!!! I wish the outlaw racers thought the same way!!!!

Outlaw racers have a different mentality for sure....driver error/stupidity shows up in all levels of racing. My point is, tire size is not the major concern here. I have voiced my opinion on several occasions to a fellow racer who was in the lane next to me about how they have handled certain situations concerning their car during a run. I learn something every pass in my car... I wish others would do the same.

Good advice Kid! Once you're out of shape it's crazy to keep going! Just not worth it in so many ways. Jim

I wish more people would follow this logic. I couldn't even begin to count how many times I've gotten out of the throttle during a pass...... just this year

I would thing things could go wrong in a hurry in your car. Pretty quick and pretty short.

I may be wrong but wasn't that a two-step button he hits on the steering wheel? I thought per NHRA all two-step buttons had to be on the brake pedal?

Here is the video of my car going up way to high , I got out of it but I still did over 10k in damage to the car . I did as several other have stated "got out of it " when there was only blue sky. Johnny you got to lift and not turn that wheel

x2 on the 2 step button

I watched your video from the Dutch and cringed as you came down. At least your view of the sky was gradual. This guy from Cecil seemed to explode off the starting line with more acceleration than I would think is possible. I have one of the 2012 4.0 cars and after seeing this crash, I may have to revise my plans. I have been working up to these power levels with my slower car but something like that happening might make me put on the Depends before I run the car at wide open throttle. So far I have kept the throttle max 45 degrees at wide open and that was pretty fast. You guys have balls.
