They switched to VHT there a couple weeks before the Halloween race last year. The locals told me the track had gotten much better, and then at the LODRS race this year, I was the very first car down the track after a day and a half of rain, and had my second best 60' since we backhalfed the car. Hullinger confirmed they were using VHT, and they've been very happy with it.
I'd never been to National Trail before Halloween of last year, but from my experience, I think you can call it The New National Trail Raceway, because it doesn't match any of the perceptions that I've read about on here for years. Actually, the same goes for Atlanta. That place was great, too.
