Jeff, I have talked to a few NHRA people on the subject. Several times, over the past 3-4 years, as I have been proposing similar changes for a while. They have no interest. Has NHRA written a letter, or posted to their website, that it won't happen? No. But then, Buell submitted a proposal for a new 4 valve engine for their Pro Stock motorcycle engine 2-3 years ago, and NHRA did not even bother to send them notice that it was declined.
