My dad said they didn't use a ladder in E. I thought it was in the rule book now that a ladder is used for class everywhere? It doesn't matter that much overall, but they need to decide if they're using it or not.

Sorry I haven't been posting all day. A/SA did use a ladder, but I think lots of other classes did not. I thought it was supposed to be used all the time now, so I don't know what happened. I had printed out the ladder for A/SA and they had no problems at all.
We just now ran the 2nd round of class. Between a little rain, wind, oildowns and a crash, the day has just drug out. Larry got beat by Bo Butner and it was really just a blowout. If something is not done to get these Mustangs factored correctly, there won't be any old cars left running--but I guess that is the way the Ford owned NHRA wants it! That car can run 9.60 easily and nobody can get close enough to make him go far enough under to get horsepower. I'm sure Gary Richards and Bo will have a deal in the finals so that they still won't go quick enough to get power. |

Doubt that!!! Mr. Richard doesn't make deals. That combo will get power at end of the year. If not this week. Brett Candies 4192 Stock/SS |

Looks to be, just atad fast there. A slew of cars tripped the look at trigger. Maybe tomorrow the instant hit will strike.

Gary has been protecting that combination all year, save Indy where he ran 1.17 under. Me thinks his car has a lot more than that. So why should he put down a 1.20 hit now? Bo Butner is a different story.

Are you sure it's six, Bruce? Mr. Gary has triggered it with an 1.17 under run. That means a multiplication of the h.p. rating x 2.25%.
