Thats funny right there. He is impressed with how the 5.3L runs with the wow. Must not be impressed with how the 5.4 runs though. I guess that .1 extra liter just makes all the differance in the world. lol.
I am sure the car will be impressive once you get everything worked out.

If Paul Cambria saw an 8:80 on his second ever pass after only a couple days of playing with one of the first built COPOs, I think some new records are soon to be set. The big-blower S/S cars are looking very promising based on his few test runs. I can't wait to see what one of the early 427 stockers will do with some minor tuning and the right driver. Again, this is gonna get very interesting.

I guess nobody picked up on my earlier post.
142 MPH indicates an ET that is .500+/- SLOWER than the actual ET of 8.88.
When he takes the sock out of the throttle body, you'll see a much higher MPH which will tell you the true ET potential. I'm guessing 8.65 @ 153-154 MPH once the sock is removed. And that's with only a tune.
I don't really like the look of the street Camaro. It has grown on me but I'd still go buy a '13 Boss if I won the lottery tomorrow. But I have to admit, with some tires under the car and that cowl hood, those COPO cars do look pretty good. And I'd much rather change the cam or R&R heads on the COPO than the 4v Cobra Jets!
