Default Sportsman racer passes (Bill Nunn)

Was at the hospital this morning when Bill passed. He was my partner for over 40 years on race cars, parts and getting in trouble. I was best man at his wedding. One of my best friends. He loved drag racing and the people around it. I WILL MISS HIM.

I'm sorry to hear that Terry. I didn't know Bill had been sick.

I can remember when the Cain and Nunn racing team was hard to beat in Stock and then S/S.

Rest in peace Bill.

Truely sorry to hear about Bill, over the years most of my contact with him was related to his Corvette parts business and he was always, ALWAYS a real gentleman. Rest in peace Bill.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I showed Bill's wife the comments make and she was pleased to see so many positive, kind comments at her time. At the funeral home the drag racing community was well represented. I know we had two pass div. champions, one world champion and several national winners in attendance and it really made me feel good knowing Bill and I have and I will continue to be part of the racing family.
Thanks again,
Terry
