What a lot of nonsense.Everybody knew what Dan was saying and why.He has raced every track at every level and from his high place in this sport i think he is entitled to use any expression he wants to refer to any track he wants. It was all about his son-----a dynasty in the making. Can't find nicer or more skill full racers. Some people live in small places and try to drag others into their hole. Go away buttplug!

I must have missed something here cause I read what he wrote and it seemed fine to me. And if every track was as nice as Charlotte, Norwalk, Vegas, Bristol ect ect ect, it would cost alot more to go bracket racing cause someone has to pay for those Bellagio type places and thier perks. I cant speak for the class stuff quite yet But when it comes to bracket racing as long as the track hooks and they pay I could care less about the rest. Fancy restrooms, bleachers ect do me no good when I am in the car racing. We got one track here that uses some kind of wierd mud racing tree and another uses a porta tree practice tree to run the timing system. They might not be the nicest places in the world but it beats not racing by a mile. Sorry to sidetrack a thread that never should have been started.

No problems here with any of Dan's comments or word usage! I'll read any of Dan's comments anytime they are posted and wish he would post more. I certainly enjoy reading his articles in the National Dragster. I was going to say "ragster", but that would probably get people annoyed also.
Keep'm coming Dan!! Congrats to Dan, Timmy, Tommy and the whole Fletchburger clan!! (family) Sorry, probably shouldn't have said clan either.... Safe Travels EVERYONE!!!

It's amazing how people take things out of context on the internet. In the heat of a truly amazing moment, how could you not get excited! This politically correct BS has got to stop. We all know Dan had every right to express himself, no matter what was said.
Dan, I hope you just ignore the post and keep posting yourself as it is always great to hear your thoughts and perspectives on the world of drag racing. You have earned everything you have ever worked for and you don't need some .........., well I won't go there. Fletcher's keep up the good work and keep making your dad proud! Cheers! Mike |

I like the dirt track...Just serviced a diesel RV generator for "The Jet" last week.....The man is a legend..... P.S. If you don't know who "the jet" is......you don't know a thing about dirt racing in the northeast....

If you have issues with what other people say, you are in the wrong sport.

He can call it what he wants but the more passes his sons make the better they get. Not that they need to get better they do pretty good now.

....... and I'm sure he tests there too. I'm sure I know the track. My sister lives near it. Wish I did, lol.
Checkmates probably easily made 1000's of passes there. No reason to get down on it guy, its his local yokel. We could all use one. |
