My most lasting memory of DAN Fletcher will be seeing him taking two bags of trash out of his motorhome on the sunday of last years combo race at Numidia. This speaks volumes of a guy who is willing to do the dirty work no matter what his stature in this sport is.Also I think that he has instilled in his sons the attitude that races are there to be won, because of his mindset and concentration.if more racers would adopt his attitude there would be more winning and less cannon fodder for those big guns who go deep into every eliminator. Just my two cents

Dan -- congrats Dad on the string of victories by your boys. Really had to laugh when I read the various threads commenting on your choice of words in one of your posts... guess some of these folks have never lived in New York before. Believe I was fortunate enough to have sat in the passenger seat of the wagon when we went for a quick boot around the neighborhood last time I visited Fletcherville. Just keep those kids out of Super Street (I think Thomas needs another Super Stocker)... On a related note, sure miss your "On the Run" articles in ND... the exploits of the Pros are really pretty boring (flew in, got my hair and nails done, quick photo shoot, etc.), and its always gratifying to read how hitters like you (and your boys) deal with the same b-s (am I allowed to say that?) that us first-rounders do -- getting to the track, fighting with the DoT, keeping the gennie running, etc. Get back behind the PC and send them in some entertaining copy. See you in Joliet

Congrats Thomas. Wow there is nothing wrong with using a little "figurative language" (hey i paid attention in 4th grade) in a congratulatory statement to your son.
