Jim Hughes. Two time world Champ, !983, 1989, with the points system. Many time Divisional Champ. Still wins Vegas Nats about every other time he shows up-ha. The Smartest racer I have ever met. He can tell me what my 330 foot time was on any given run ( well almost). I was very fortunate to have met him the first year I started racing stock.

Grew up in Grand Junction watching Jim Hughes work his magic in his stick cars year in and year out!
Not to mention my inspiration for the love of Stock and Superstock!

He also probably owns the only Duramax diesel pickup in the country with a 6spd manual trans in it! lol
