NHRA site says two Qualifying runs Friday Morning: 8 and about 10:30.

Without anything to gain for class... I doubt many people will spend the time
And money to hop up their cars for class anymore. For me and my kids,
It will just be another time trial!

There has to be a Benefit to go along with the Risk of hurting the engine or
the horsepower rating. It is getting more expensive to race every year and
the return is going the other way. My kids don't like it / They would both love a Shootout! .......But I pay the bills!

I understand how you feel.

I might be new to stock, but I'm from the old school way of thinking. Work hard on your car and make it as fast as you can. I take pride in working on it, making it as fast as I can. Running class still means alot to me, just like it did the first time I ran class in Vegas a couple of years ago. My car isn't very pretty right now, but I'm working on that part this summer, new paint, interior etc.

Rick and Jon Jr. do meet in Finals for Class..........Rick car appears to have a problem and unfortunately rolls thru lights. I am sure there will be lots of return matches. I believe it would have great race as our weather station was 4000 plus letting the cars hang it out pretty good!

Thanks John, I was hoping for a better race than I gave Jon. I've got more work to do on the car, and hopefully I will give you guys a better race next time.
