If you fast class stockers race in 9's, then there's hope that my car might see a 14sec et slip (don't tell that to Ed, as if I could get that kind of et from my car, then I'd be closer to a good heads up run with his Gremlin??? It sure doesn't happen here in 1300ft Phoenix, Az., but that's ok, I'll take what I can get.....

I'll bet it is, and I look forward to the opportunity of doing so, when I get to more sea level tracks where they'd run that quick. I guess there were maybe one or a few that ran that quick here, but I'd have to check out the national event we had here to see....still not as many as you'd get out there....

I've got an idea how about all those folks that think there OK with the absolute minimum safety equipment, may be they could just get by with a stocking cap with a chin strap to keep the mush together so there will be less down time when there cleaning up after the wreck, also could also help the gene pool in the long run, witch would fix alot of other problems we currently have!!!!

the line has been drawn in the rule book an I for one won't lose a moments sleep if the op ends up in a bag or brain dead because he is out to prove he is smarter than the "stupid rules maklers" NHRA, SFI and most of his competitors buying a helmet that cost less than $11!

i guess i didn't get the part about him being smarter (or i didn't read it that way) BUT, it sounds like he's a better shopper than most of us..

ASSUMING it's not a knock-off helmet.
