they enforced it on me, i use the mesh and i have had to replace it twice. guess it depends on who looks at it. i will still buy a new one every 2 years as i can see much better with the mesh.
only issue i have is when i got this one it was several months dated, i will have to replace it in a year and half, insted of 2. also i have had gloves (rci) where the sfi patch has fell off, guess i should buy better stuff, but man, come on....

I would love to sit in the board room one time and listen to how these decions are made. If I am not mistaken the same deal went down years ago with the diapers.
The last time this came up a few years back the rule was unclear and I did the same and replaced it. Only to find out in tech that it was not necessary. Custom made one also. Thanks again NHRA.
