Tony Monico......
He has a very nice 72 Nova.....ran a little S/ST and some bracket racing in the past. Used to run Mid 10's with a 350. He built a 502 himself......He's trying to get out and make license runs soon. Glad to hear Ricky is up and running fine and hopefully it stays that way for a season.....

Santhuff springs are machined flat on both ends of their springs and you have to remove 1 coil on 1 end so the fit in spring pocket in lower control arm of Camaros, chevelles, novas etc. You can fit the flat end in it if you like, I would not as it does not fit into the pocket in the lower arm then.
I cut mine. fit fine. Santhuff says no problem cutting them as first coil is a dead coil as they put it. |

I asked bob gonier, a member here what coil spring is he running on his small tire, super street Nova who's build was featured by Evan Smith in National Dragster last year and he told me told me he runs Santhuff's 180 lb. spring. He did say however that the springs are at coil bind and the lower control arms on the bump stops.
