Yes it is. I can remember the days I started NHRA racing going to the points races and seeing racers like SE Buchanan, Larry Yow, Charlie Ford, DeLight Southland

Sonny Hall and more. The transmissions and clutches are so much easier today to run than they were back in those I don't know why there not many running in stock any more.
Guess I'll still fly the ole stick handle in Super Stock.Wouldn't what do with all that extra time going down the track anyway.

Yes it is very sad and like Mr. Colvert stated it used to be the other way around no wonder it was such much fun back then! This is exactly why i am doing the transition, to bring some "fun" aspect back into the game and compete at the same time. Mr. Colvert, congrats on your showing this past weekend that was bad fast and a testament to what we will be up against this year i love it!!
