Looking for a Snap On socket, or something thats a replacement...its a long 1/2" 12 point socket, its marked S6187...if I search on it I cant find it, but its a 6" or so long socket, really skinny, meant for getting at the 12 point nuts that are hard to get at on a SBC...its similar to Snap On pn S6260...

What nuts are you trying to reach?
Kenny said you don't have any nuts!

When you say the hard to get at ones do you mean the head bolts that are between the valve springs and you are using the arp bolts/studs with the small head to clear oversize springs? If so I will try and find my socket in the morning and give you the number of the one I am using. You can also get a Craftsman 3/8 drive deep 12 pt and then put a adapter on it to use your 1/2 drive torque wrench. I know thats not the ideal way to do it but I had to do it that way before I got my fancy socket.

I think the socket u are looking for is a 1/2 inch drive about 5 inches long---u might look at a Snap on SIML200 or some thing like that not sure on the part number but Snap on did/does sell them you can get from 1/2inch to about 3/4 inch---used for taking off gas tank straps alot
