Noel... any pics from when you had it?

pics can be emailed to me @ ssslim@comcast.net
The corvette will not be a class car. It will be a PSCA type car. It is still red.

Thanks for the info on our old vette!!!!

Here are pictures of all of the paintjobs it had while Chuckie Wright and my father owned it.

Chuckie Wright (fresh from SRD) @ PID...circa mid 70s

This is the paintjob that Chuckie put on it before he let it sit for 10 years

We had it painted this yellow before 91 season, won E-town that year.

Harry added a little more color to it in mid 90's

Car ended up all orange after Edgewater roof trip. Won Dutch Classic 3 months after we put on the orange paint. Sold it to Larry Eagle with this paintjob.

It's amazing that you can track down your old cars, Tom! I wonder how many more retired race cars are sitting around waiting to be "re-discovered"?

Have a wonderful Holiday Season!

Tom, if you race the same car for 25 years you won't have to look for it, just at it.

Here's one of mine. It's just sitting in the garage right now, eventually I'll get it back to it's 1973-77 configuration in the black paint. The current paint, backhalf, and etc were done by a previous owner in Maryland.

I guess you could say Kevin Cradduck's orange 69 Camaro has had an interesting journey. It started out with Joe Fasano and Steve Calabro, it went from there to Ken Bugaj, Ken sold it (can't remember who bought it, but that's when it was painted orange, so we're told), then bought it back, then sold it to Anthony Bertozzi. Pete Biondo drove it while Anthony owned it. Then Anthony sold it to Kevin.

Nice tie-down job!! The things we used to do! Are those tie-downs on the rear hooked to the bumper??

Thanks for this thread, Tommy

I built this 66 wagon in 1977 from a street car that was given to me by my lettering guy, the late Billy Mocarsky.
Later that year ,with the de-factoring of the 283, and the addition of a third seat, I was able to put the thing into R/Stock ,were it was capable of running under the index just about anywhere. For those guys new here, that was a really good situation back then.
We set the R/Stock record three times in 78, won the Orlando WCS and finished 3rd in the division.
By 1979, I decided to try Super Stock again. I converted the car to a powerglide for it's new owner, Frank (The Wagonmaster) Tantillo.
The second pic it at the 79 Winternationals. (recently forwarded to me by Dave Kommel)
Frank painted the car two tone blue, and finished 2nd in the Connecticut Dragway points that year.(1980)
I think I know where the car is now, but maybe Gary or Barry Parker can fill us in from 81 forward.

Could this be the same car Bob Mullaney won the D1 championship with in the late 90's?
I think it was a different color.
