And Scott, If your serious about wanting a SS/C AMX ,I built the chassis and cage on Aris' car and have all the patterns. Jus bring a wheelbarow full of cash! ...And make sure you have a second one full when you build the engine!! LOL ps The only good 258 combo is the '77 2bbl ,in just about any body style.

258 was not available untill '71 ....I bought one new off the showroom floor and made it an H/MP racer the same week!
The '69 was a 232 and the 2bbl engine is not listed for the Javelin body ,only the 1 bbl version. Not saying other year 232 , 258's wont run, I've been building them for years for Jeep racers and a Stocker or two, but the only AMC six that has favorable factoring, build specs and a good 2 bbl carb is the '77.

Hey Jeff, Rob told me you were putting the AMX back in stock. Now maybe I have incentive to put the Challenger together.

![]() I'm working hard to be out by March. Get that six-pack going, I think we could toss a record back and forth! There sure is a lot more in D/S than when I left! I'd love to throw the sticks and autos together. There would be well over a hundred in D.

Anybody going to run the Edelbrock heads for 10HP? Not for now, I'm just going to use my old heads so I can get the dang thing done. Will look at the edelbrocks for some other time.
