Will consider either unit. Must be serviceable. MOPAR used to sell the aluminum units in Direct Connection snd they probably gave a bunch of Magnesium units away in the Pro-Stock wars of the '70's so I know one of you racer's has one and are tired of tripping over it!

You might contact Hemi Fred at www.prostockhemi.com I know he had two or three and was going to sell me one, but I didn't have much use for it.

Fred just sold them a month or so ago. He sent me some pictures of a mag case Dana 60. I wouldn't be interested. It's like a Dana pumped up on steroids! Fred said (and based on the pictures he's probably correct) the weight savings isn't huge and for what he sold his for ($3500), not worth it; unless you have a period piece and need it.
Anybody know anything about the aluminum Dana 60 center section? Thanks, Jeff Lee NHRA #7494 SS/H 1970 AMC AMX "Best Appearing" @ NHRA '06 Pacific Sports Nationals JeffLeeAzRealty@Qwest.net 602-418-9797 |
