These big sportsman races are great, but where is the rest of the IHRA schedule for 2012? No national or Pro-Am races announced yet, what's up with that? Makes one wonder if there is even going to be ANY IHRA race schedule in 2012??????

Roberts,
I was told this weekend that the div 9 schedule was just about done they are waiting on 1 track. Most of the time the schedule don't come out until after the PRI show. Chip |

Thanks Chip.
Thought that they usually had it out earlier than this. |

Lot's of guys out here in Tx. & La. are excited about the new schedule, especially moving the finals to a more central location. 22 hr tows are tough. Atleast now the cost to travel will be evenly distributed. I'm betting that the San Antonio event will be a success as well providing NHRA doesn't "reschedule" an event on top of their date. I will be suprised if theres not a D4 pro-am at Memphis prior to the Sportsman Spectacular as well. Like everyone else I'm still eagerly waiting on the 2012 pro-am schedule.
By the way Chip, good job...again. Ray Dew |
