Afraid so, Rowland indicated that low car counts, NHRA "fee" and poor spectator count meant they wouldn't have the race this year. Think its tough scheduling a big race around the holiday and all the big $$ bracket races down south. Hate that since I love the track plus seeing you and your Dad reset a record, the premier Hemi cars, Colvert, etc.
Maybe racers need to make sure they attend next springs LODRS race there and provide feedback on having a NO there again in the fall.

The National Open at Valdosta will not happen this year. Rich Schaefer is working with them and others for one or more next year. The key to making it work is a date that will produce car count so the promoter can make a profit. Any great ideas should be directed to Rich at the D2 office.
