Chuck

A 7.0 class makes sense, but having 6.0 and 6.5 weight breaks is just stupid. Those are Super Stock weight breaks, for a reason.

Mike,
If we read this correctly they expect a car with more modifications and 170 lbs less wt to run just .18 quicker?

Well it did it with no modifications from how he ran it in stock.

Chad, seems I hit the go button and wiped out a line without trying. Was going to ask if it weighed the same or the 170 lbs. less. Have some non racing engineering friends interested in this because of the vast differences in HP and WT being described. To clarify you can only add enough wt to move up or down a class (as in you cannot be too heavy and run slower than you would at max class weight using the class numbers) but in AA/SA many of these cars have over 500 lbs of weight added? They want to know if there is a rule on where the weight is added. Must it be split to 50/50, etc.? I thought NHRA removed the nose heavy % requirement many years ago.
Thanks

6.0lb Stockers ... like a 427 Cobra? Unfortunately that wouldn't run with the CJ's and Drag Paks either but it'll be interesting to see how deep in the 8's a Stocker will go.
