I think both tracks are great! we have a blast at the Sportsnats down at No Problem! We will go every time we can!

TriState is awesome too, but they don't run in March! LOL! PRetty easy to have fun at both!

Got to love the downhill staging lanes and all concrete track at Earlville.

They even built it to catch the west tailwind!

Please, if you get a chance, post a photo of the track dryer. Those who have never seen it will thank you.

There are so many cool things that Mad Scientist Reid Kuhlman came up with it's amazing. For instance, right behind the water he built a couple of pits covered by sewer grates. If your tires carried rocks, etc. they fall into the pit before they can do any damage. A simple idea but genius.

About those cookies at the scales--we had probably been here 4 or 5 years before I even knew about the cookies. Larry would eat the evidence before he got back to the trailer.

Well, it is a beautiful, starry night. After cooking country ham outside, we are ready for a good night's rest.

More tomorrow!

It sounds like Tri-State is "The Strip of Dreams".

Too bad Iowa is so far from Connecticut.

We'll add it to the bucket list.

I don't have very good internet service here, but I will do my best. 70 something cars went down 1st pass. The air is about 2000'. A gorgeous day here in the middle of the cornfields of Iowa! Lots of stick cars here. We didn't go as quick as I thought we would, so he is re-jetting from Indy. Hopefully we will go a little better next run. They are running super stock now. More later.
