In 1980 some brain sturgeon,due to the race no longer at US 30,thought of the idea to run the 1st rd of the 1980 Bracket Finals at Lebanon Valley and then finish the race at Maple Grove.

Ed, I was also there in 1978, racing for Englishtown in Street. We won the team title that year and again in 1981 at Maple Grove to become the first two-time team champs. I had a Mercury Cougar at the time and again at the 'first round' race at Lebanon Valley in 1980.
