Yeah, and at about one tenth of the budget as the No. 2 car.
Nah, probably less than that if I know Billy.

We finally got our second qualifying run, most picked up anywhere from 3 to 5 hundreds. The were a few who picked up enough to trigger hp.
Billy Nees Jr, Don Fezell, JC Beattie. The next in car cam is brought to you by Jerry MacNeish, very cool. |

Back to racing - S/S just had their last qualifier and are done for the night ( maybe as Stock is still on hold ) .........we'll see what happens .
Congrats to Billy Nees in his newest "Dime Rocket" -- 1978 Pontiac Gran Prix - # 1 Stock Qualifier .This must be a Pontiac weekend.

Stock did get in round one this evening - lots of surprises as even with the heavy dew it was blinding fast tonight -many picked up 5 to 7 hun over their last qualifier .
Racing will resume at 8 am to conclusion - hopefully before the rains hit again .SuperStreet will be the first ones out . By the way - I was told under no circumstances would we be racing under the lights tonight - yet there we were @ 9:30pm ..........Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Good morning - And thats about all the good news I 've got at this point - the skies are very overcast and some light fog has rolled in overnight . The local forecast says rain is "on the way" - but who believes those guys .
Looking at the big picture the anticipated 8am start is the best route to take - its not a matter of if its - but when . Many were not happy ( including myself ) about racing under the poorly lit track last night but it is less to get done this morning . This reporter can't remember the last time I did a burnout in the dark ( and I'm sure I did as I've been here many times ) - I had no recollection the lights in the starting area being that dark. Hopefully this will work out .........funny thing is that were 45 minutes fron start and the place is quiet as a morgue . Later ...........
