Yep, maybe they will be able to fix them by tomorrow but I doubt it...

That is correct. Scooter said the scales need to be fixed by a specialized technician and wouldn't be able to be completed by tomorrow, so no heads up for the weekend.

The lightening really was horrific and scary this morning. My poor dog Lucy was jumping out of her skin every time! We are lucky the very severe stuff this round appears to have split and gone both north and south. Hearing news of very severe weather and flooding in Grand Rapids area, just a half our north of here.

Back to drying, projected hour and a half dry time. They did say they got parts for the timing system from Summit Motorsports Park though, and have the original computer and tree going, worked on it til 3am , so no time trial: straight into eliminations, which is more than fine!

Started sprinkling about time they played the national anthem and we were warming up cars. Got the jet dryer out, then it rained for a minute. Sooo.... There you have it. For now.
