Quick the problem with your answer is they did not have PowerGlide parts in them, the new one do

Thanks I thought Mopar built one but could not remember the era.I thought maybe they brought it back and refined it or something.Hate to ask about these new cars ,It just seems to open up a pissing match.Thanks

If the Mopars can't have powerglide parts in them, then the fords and chevys with the pro trans with the torqueflite guts got to go. Be careful what you ask for.

The ford 2 speed was a cast iron case and weighed a ton...also had a sharp edge running down the right side which would really gash your hand if you didn't realise how heavy it was.

Jeff, I would not care one way or the other but your in a Glide case not a PowerFlite, at least C4 and T350 pro trans has the right case.

So if it's a ford or bowtie it's ok? I guess that sums up this whole network. Mayabe not. Only if it's a bowtie, then it's ok. Maybe they should ok the early jeep torqueflite behind the chevy motor. Then it would be ok.
