I thought it was just me. Had nothing in the box .030 lights. I'll bring a smaller set of front tires to the replay in Sept.

IMO, Stanton wasn't too bad at all. Except for the huge bump in both lanes around the 330 mark, and then a pretty wavy groove in the right lane going through the mph cones. BUT, I will give it to the Ledford family, that track was prepped very well all weekend. They sprayed and scrapped before every class. Not too sure why my 60's we're so fast, but nonetheless, they were very consistent... That's WAY more than what I can say for Columbus. Not too happy w/ that place right now. For me, the discrepancy between one lane from the other is completely uncalled for... In Stanton, I varied 8 thou all weekend from one lane to the other. In Columbus, I was varying almost 4 hundreths. C'mon, let's be realistic... We all know beforehand that both of those tracks aren't the smoothest in the world, but the lack of consistency is not something we should not have to fight with. And in my eyes, Stanton did a lot better that Columbus did in that dept...

Tom ,,, I know that was your line , I heard you tell Mr. Grahm that when we were at the 1st four wide Nationals ( Another disaster where half the Super Gasers couldn't get down the track !! ) --- Of course I'm coming to Maple ( one of my favorite places to race , Maple was where I had my first National Event Experience ) other than whipping up on me whenever I come up there you guys/all the Super Gas racers really make me fill welcome and I always have a great time ,, which is really important to me (if it was winning I would have quit a long time ago
![]() I 'll have to agree with Adam because I did get down Stanton and my 60 Ft was pretty cosistent up to my last run ( where it picked up .025 against the winner , yea and I tried to dump , get out of it but that .025 faster was to much for me to overcome without hitting the brakes hard and I don't do hard braking at 170 MPH ). Columbus ,,, I'm struggling with if I should go or not , the Sports National is a great race and only 2.5 hours drive but if the track is weeping and I get put in the left lane , I'm toast and wasted my time and $$$$ . Adam ,,, good job at Stanton ( getting down to 3 cars and now # 2 in the Division !!! ) Colorful Racer
