Nope, I sure have not. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the issue.

My thoughts are that I think it's funny that you have an opinion on this subject without first hand or even second hand knowledge of it.

Isn't that about the same sales ratio it's always been?

Okay, thanks for the response. Yep, I really don't have any expertise but I do believe the main challenges in accomplishing this feat would be managing boost off the line, managing trans temps if someone decides to leave on boost, weight with additional tubing that would need to be added, head sealing(as the new hemi engines can't handle tons of boost), and consistency. I talked to guy a couple years ago that bracket raced a turbo car in T/S and I asked him about the consistency of the combo(as staging a turbo car with boost seems to be a handful); He told me that as long as he leaves the line with little to no boost, he can be just as consistent as any other car out there. One of the amazing things was that he was running a 360ci SB and ran 6.60's with ease ramping the boost in downtrack and leaving with no boost.

The real question is what weight could you get the car to with the additions of one or two turbos/what size, and if you have room for an intercooler, and what boost levels would it take to make enough power to run quick ET's while leaving on zero boost. The one nice thing is that if you ever wanted to turn it up, you could by leaving on boost from the line. Quite honestly my opinion is more based on the uniqueness of this combo and the cool factor of that possibility vs. the actual feasability of it. Not only that, drag racing is already a copycat game, why not do something different?

PS: If I had my way, I would want them to put a sleeper engine option out for a possible SS engine combo. Build the 5.7/6.1/6.4's the same but put new heads on them with bigger, taller ports, bigger valves, and two 1000cfm throttle bodies, then put a crappy camshaft in it that wouldn't make major horsepower. Maybe such that you couldn't take advantage of the power unless it was used in SS application with more lift. But what can I say, I'm a dreamer
