Congratulations to all the winners in Epping.

But, is there any way we can race when it's a tad cooler, like early to mid May,
Sept. & the first part of Oct.
I'm sure that this heat was very unusual & rare because half the country had the heat
as well.
But you have July 4th weekend @ Lebanon.
3 weeks later in July @ New England.
2 weeks later in August @ Atco.
2 weeks later in August @ Cecil County.

That's 4 races in the very hot summer months.

Why couldn't we have 2 points races in May, 1 race in July, 1 race in August & 2 races
in Sept. ???

just my 3 cents.

Whether you race in April,May,June,July,August,Sept or Oct someone always gets to win.
There's probably a different ideal schedule for every S/SS racer in the division.Who's to say one is better than the other?
I missed this race due to lack of funds.I would have been there, just like every other year I've raced Stock, since 1999,excluding 2004,again for lack of funds.
I would have gladly put up with the heat, like I've put up with multiple rain episodes, cold,
pollen attacks (remember Atco last year?).The way things are now,It looks like I'll be
sideligned till 2012,especially after embarrassing myself at Englishtown, the only race I ran this year.

Get this - In winning yesterday Katie Sepaneks' lights averaged .016 thru seven rounds of tough competition ..........think about that next time you line up against her ............

Thumbs up Re: Live from New England Dragway,Epping,NH-NHRA LucasOil Se

Gotta say that the track was EXCELLENT !
The track personell were friendly and the starting line crew really worked at keeping the hook there., and it was consistant.......150 deg track temp and I was hooked up every time!!
I did'nt mind the lenght of the trip as much as the condition of the roads, I dont know what Mass and Conn. do with the fuel taxes, but they dont appear to spend it on the highways!

Hey Tom, forgive me, but which car were you there with ? Had I known, I'd have stopped by and said "Hi".

All this track needs is a renovation like Norwalk's and I'm sure the cars & spectators will follow. As many trees that there are on the facilities, they could easily add a campground for those spectators & racers wishing to camp out. Hopefully they can get a Nat during the Fall timeframe. Just follow Bill Bader's fan friendly atmosphere plan and the owners will be all set.

Todd, I was running my Super Gas 58 Vette.
I've been so busy with customer car work , I've had to let the Stocker sit.....No time to work on it .
