Boy, does it look like it is slow by looking at the qualifying #s. Anybody got the density altitude??

Jeff, your reply states that it gets hot down there. According to the weather channel, not only is it hotter in Columbus but the heat index is higher.

First pass for SS I had 96 degrees, 55 hum and 29.07 baro.
Second pass of SS i had 101 degrees and 55.5 hum and 29.08. Both with very slight cross wind at times. I have some pics but will post later (at hotel and the pool looks to good!)....

Well for once I am not sorry that work got in the way of going racing this weekend. I just came in out of the pool (and it was almost too hot to be in). I don't envy any of ya'll at the track!
I just talked to Tonya Lynch and Keith blew up an engine today in time trials. They are only 2 hours away, so who knows?? if it rains out the 1st round tonight, they might be back tomorrow with their spare engine in! |
