Load Generator
I've got a new generator but it seems a little loud, is there a way to muffle it so that I don't disturb everyone around me?
Need a little help here. JimR

Re: Loud Generator
What brand? Coleman and open enclosure style, seem to be really loud. On my Coleman 5500, I made an exhaust pipe that attached to the muffler. It was piped down and below my open trailer. That helped alot, but it was still loud. Prior to the exhaust system, I could not get the thing far enough from my pit area and others around me. It broke my heart when some thief unbolted it from my trailer in the middle of the winter. I replaced it with a used Honda 3500, best $200 I ever spent!
