It's a shame that the IHRA folks putting on this race don't really have a clue about stock and super stock. Buybacks and random pairings. They don't have this crap at their regular races. Why now? This may please the bracket racers that have a stocker but a lot of the NHRA regulars i fear will be missing. Even at our combo races in BG we have a ladder and heads up races. I hope they do well with the race. I have been very supportive to IHRA this year and plan on attending all eight of the d3 races, but these are the kinds of gimmicks that I fell will keep a lot of NHRA racers away.
