Default Re: an accurate rear tire gauge

Consistency is more important than accuracy for me, unless I want to compare with someone else. I used a Moroso hose with a pressure guage I got at Grainger's for years. It was probably in the range of 2 lbs. off, but it read the same no matter the temp or humidity. I eventually took the cover off and added my own numbers to the scale. You should see the look on someone's face when I told them to be sure the tire pressure was "68 1/2".

I also don't check/adjust my slick's air pressure between rounds.
