Should be drier than last year. Weather Chanel predicts high temps of 90 to 92. Testing here yesterday it was 100 at the track. 3700' to 3900' DA. Should be better for the race next weekend. If anybody needs anything while here let me know.

Sammy,
That would be like "Not going" to No Problem because there are Hurricanes that come through the south. I think with a fast car you can out run one of those tornados. Don't know about doing that with a hurricane, might run out of gas trying to get away from one of those big buggers.. :~)

Sammy,
Coming from someone that has spent his entire life in "Dorothy & Toto" land, come on to Tulsa and just hang close. If by chance (slim) that the weather threatens, I'll provide complete directions on what procedures you should take. I've experienced eathquakes and the remnants of a few hurricanes...... I'll take a puny ol twister any day of the week. Unk

Sammy, the season is really over. We do have warnings. Supposed to be 90 to 92 deg, and seldom gets as humid as down your way.

Sammy,
I hate to sound like I'm making fun of your "ism", (Lord knows I suffer from a couple) but that is funny. Those pictures of Topeka must have really been touching....I've stayed away from races because of the threat of rain, ice, snow, heat and other forms of weather (including a hurricane, remember Ennis & Rita!), but I've never stayed home from a race because of the threat of a tornado. Just a thought. Wouldn't life be better if you face your fear and win the race? Then you would "Really" have something to rib Ed about!! ;~)
