Default Norwalk National Entries

I can't remember which race it was, but didn't NHRA open up some more spots at a national event last year? You think they'll do it with Norwalk? Don't get me wrong, I love seeing all the classes filled up! But they're full even before the 1 grading point guys even get a chance at it. Then you look at some national events, and the super categories barely even fill up halfway. It just kind of sucks for some people who can't race much, and want to race a national... Just wondering, that's all.

Believe you might be thinking about Reading...but no matter, it looks like their TOTAL quota will be very close to being filled and what the facility can accommodate has a whole lot to do with that total number. Don't look for more openings this far out, stock and super stock entries will start filtering in pretty quick.

Eh, if he does, he does... No biggie... I'm glad people love going to Norwalk. I wish more races had the turnout they do! Then maybe our event purse/round money could go up a little more, just like the fees seem to be doing.

The problem you will have though is once the quota is met, even if they open it up for more spots, whatever grade point it was at when it filled will be what you will have to have to get in.

It's unfortunate, but it makes guys have to attend more races to increase their grade points. In the end it's all about the money,or lack of it.

Everyone wants to run Norwalk. I noticed last night that Bristol is not full but Norwalk is.

The high entries are called Division 3.....That along with a nice group of tracks....and the mid summer dates.....

And the Norwalk factor.....they set the bar pretty high.....
