Default Re: Live from Englishtown , NJ - NHRA Supernationals

Well It's almost 6:30 PM and I'm back at the house now after an exhausting 15 minute ride home.We had a bit of a downpour at around 5:00 PM.Just a bit of rain and some nice sized hail stones, some bigger than nice sized marbles.Like Ken said Stock,SS and the Super category cars are parked on the pit side, above the area of the time ticket booth. It was explained to me that only towed vehicles were parking on the spectator side due to some incedents with spectators last year playing matador with the cars navigating the pits at the spectator entrances. It was getting a bit crowded when I left, but all in all it should be good for the S/SS cars getting to their spots easier this year.
Redman is in the house, doing his usual excellent job of making us welcome. And the tech guys did a good job of keeping the tech lanes short.
I spent the afternoon as apprentice to Tom Goldman who sorted out a few small issues with the little chugger motor.
I hope to have something in the class single marathon.
