(Disclaimer: Opinions expressed by me on this forum are exactly that, my opinions.)
It's not straightened out. I won class at Houston and my name still isn't listed with any points. Not that it matters that much, not like I'm going anywhere to chase those points. Besides, if they don't give you the points that you earn, how are you going to be able to chase them. LOL

Can't you guys find anything better to talking about/beat down. It's a new system give it time. The problems WILL work there way out. Heck I was the furthest under stick car in Topeka (STK) and I did not even get a class win. At least Charlie Nealson at NHRA who is charge of this whole thing will talk with racers about way to make this class deal better and fair. Charlie knows there are problems with the system in its currently state and is looking for ways to improve it. But like all things it's just going to take time.

Every time I've questioned grade points, points tally, etc. NHRA got back to me within a day with the answer and resolution. Give it a try...

What is the tie breaker? It looks like 255 pts is max points for three races.

I know; a final show down in November at Great Bend Ks. All same class cars race each other to get winner of that class, winner gets 85 points. The singles run off index, winner gets 80 points. The "Champ is now determed by furthest under index.

Now that's a "TIE BREAKER"!

A very simple cost effective solution to a simple enhancement!!!

Mess is repaired. Thank you. The Tie Breakers are being formulated at this time.

I still dont see why a win in a single class run off is worth more than the win in the combo run off. You would think beating 4 cars should be the same no matter what.
It is pretty clear to me that NHRA does not want some odd ball (no offence to people with odd combinations) to win this title. As the way it is setup I figure it will all ways come down to what ever the tie breaker is. And any one that has to count even one race where they were in the combo run off will have no chance to win.
You would think the tie breaker system should have been anounced at the time the system was. Not well after the start of the season.

I guess I must not have raced in Houston because I'm still not listed as having any class points. Jeff, why did you think the mess was repaired? Did you talk to someone and if so who?
Thanks, Chuck

Before you implement a new system, you should try to have all of the bugs worked out before using it! I'm sure if these racers weren't policing it and pointing out they are not receiving the correct points, they wouldn't get them!

I speak from experience! Last season, I was not credited with the correct amount of points! I happened to notice this and called the Division office to make them aware of it! There response was "thanks for pointing this out, we will get it fixed." I asked what would have happened had I not called in, and guess what they said??? You got it.........NOTHING!

We are talking keeping track of points here! This is not rocket science! If they can't even do that right, what else are they screwing up??? It's a shame that we, the customer, have to continually make the corrections!

In the time Rosie was DD of D2 the points were ALWAYS screwed up! I bet I called and emailed the Division a hundred times trying to get them straightened out! Since Ritch has been the new DD I must say the points seem to be correct and the revisions are up right after the race is over. Refreshing! Jim

I didn't call anyone. I figured they would read it here. I thought it was funny. If you aren't in, let me know the number, class etc and I will see if I can find it.
