Even Ed and I agree. It's quite a show.

Doesn't get much cooler than a Hemi unless it's a Hemi with a Stick.. I really like the "grassroots" part of this quote.

Grassroots racers who compete in the Mopar HEMI Challenge are the foundation of drag racing, and the reason why Mopar is involved in the NHRA,” said Pietro Gorlier, President & CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand

Can't wait to see how the Reher Morrison and the Jenkins Competition stick "dogs hunt".

Yeah, two more "grassroots" racers....cause, you know, EVERYBODY has a couple hundred grand to throw around for their weekend hobby right?

That said, the hemi challenge is cool.
Whether Hemi's are in their own sandbox or with everybody in the eliminator, they are pretty cool.

which do you think is more expensive? Running a SS/AH Hemi, or running a Pro Stock?

Thumbs up Re: SS/AH Shootout on for Indy

Up until this year, first prize was $10,000 and the car counts for the last 4 years were 22 - 30. This year with first prize increased to $15,000; it will be interesting to see how many more, if any, cars participate.

Seems to be very hard to get 30 of them running on the same day! For instance, mine is broken right now.
