That is closer than going to Montgomery for us and the payout is great for the entry vs the Div 3 race. Hummm, might be the place to be..

Some North Star Dragway feedback,
*The owner/operator is Larry Croft, one of the best, most experienced track operators ever. He was at Texas Raceway [Kennedale} during it's glory days and worked with Pat Joffrion for some time. *The track is right! It hooks solid all the time. It is properly prepped and maintained. *Mr Croft runs a fair, straight forward program, so BS, no whining. Line up and race. *I am bracket racing there this season and really enjoying the outings. The whole setup is racer friendly with a good feeling. *I expect the place will be covered up with racers and the race will be run correctly and the track will dead hook every run.

Looks like a nice race. Are IHRA cars, i.e. Crate Motor stockers welcome to come play? What are the rules in S-SS class? Heads up runs? Stock and SS split in early rounds?
thanks for the info Ken |

Mr Croft was talking about this last Saturday. If you have a class legal car you are in. No class run off, just dial-in racing for s/ss cars. Check with the track for specific details direct from them. The North Star Dragway web site has the email for Larry Croft & Nick Duty [Nick is Larry's Grandson and is good about answering email]

Yes, crate motor stockers are welcome. Classes will be split until the money rounds. No heads-up racing. |

You all could probably coax Cimarolli into going.
