When I lived in Montreal I drove a diesel Smart Car (72 mpg), moved to Atlanta (was not allowed to import the Smart) so I bought American, 2011 5.0 Mustang convertible, 22 mpg and a little quicker than the Smart.

I daily drive my Honda CRV the knocks down 33mpg. wife drives a 2008 Acura TSX. Hauling we have a 37ft 1997 pushed. Gets about 10mpg pulling the flat bed on the highway. Looking into picking up a 26-28ft trailer in the next few weeks.
