In 1967 I received my draft notice.....I was already married and my wife was pregnant. I was given a 4a classification by the local draft board. I consider myself lucky.......I was never called to serve......
Those of you that did serve in that era are owed a lot of gratitude for your service. Looking back it was not a good time for many young men our age......
