Thumbs up Garrison Construction Belle Rose

Thank you for all the fine food .For all you racers that do not know Garrison Construction fed all and any one who came by their pit area for free. We asked if he would take money and they refused . As for myself and a few other Div. 3 Racers we again would like to thank you for your kindness. We up North do not have any thing like this, I guess that shows the Southern hospitality.

Good for Garrison Construction! This is what makes our sport so different from others. True Southern (Cajun) Hospitality! Jim

Another tidbit about Mr. Don as everyone calls him. He pays for every kid jr dragster entry at No Problem. All year long.

Not only do they do it out of the kindness of their hearts, they're not exactly throwing out bologna sandwiches either. Everything they cooked was as good or better than any Cajun restaurant I've ever been to including some very pricy ones.

It's just another reason why racing at No Problem is unique. I'm not sure there is a better experience anywhere and yes, that includes the "Norwalk Experience".

Didn't he also covered the grandstand on the pit side for free? I know I enjoyed it yesterday when I was running from the sun.
You will not meet a more generous person than Mr. Don.

Please don't let this post go away too fast. Garrison fed everyone, even the "Yankees". My crew and I ate there everyday, and so did everyone on the premises. I know I am speaking for many people who may not get on this site, but the food was awesome.

The free buffet started at breakfast, and during the day he served shrimp balls, crab cakes, catfish, crawfish etouffee, tacos, pork, jumbalaya, pastalaya, and I am sure I am missing some.. And, the food was great!

Hidalgo also served jumbalaya, as did Latino..also very good. I think they put alligator in it too?? I even had frog legs during the weekend.

If it moves down there... they cook it, and they cook it good, and of course eat it, and share it with everyone!

Thanks for a great experience, and a great race.

Sal

Going my Sal's numbers, I figure he was a 73 under car Friday and a 68 car Sunday. He loss 4 because of the conditions and 1 for the extra weight that he was carrying.lol
