I've been calling him MR. ED for sometime now but humor aside, that's cool Ed that your car is famous, and you have a photo of your nice looking car in that thread (I'm a bit jealous)! I have to admit, since your car is also against the norm (as a stocker racer), I wish that AMC dealers would've been closer to where I lived in Denver than Chevrolet & Ford dealers were, because I would've been happy to own a Gremlin too (or even a Hornet)...my first wife had a '73 and it was fun to drive could've made an interesting race car too??? One benefit to buying one (even with the six-banger), would've been the option of being able to drop the 304 V8 into it...knowing me however, I would've stayed with the 6-banger to have something different...Cliffords Research was very famous during the 70's and they could've guided me to the parts needed to make that car quicker than my Cavalier....certainly easier to work on!!!
