Default Shift Lghts

I am looking for a shift light system that maybe some of the stick guys are using, or maybe the automatic guys too. I need to have different shift points for each gear, and the transmission I use is a five speed. I just purchased a 5313 autometer, but I am still looking. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Look at the Autometer 5350 digital programmable shift light .
I've been using one for several years, easy to program and use....And its very compact.
Who needs a huge 5" tach blocking their view anymore?
This model has a digital playback and a launch rpm feature which I like for foot brake racing.

Daytona Sensors LLC. They've got a really cool programmable shift light system that is also a basic data logger, and it can be combined with their A/F R interace to give you programmable shift lights (has a staging RPM as well, so if you run a "no box" race, you can stage at the same RPM without a two step) with a multichannel data logger and air/fuel ratio meter.

Thumbs up Re: Shift Lghts

We have a MSD Digital 7 programmable ignition. It has a provision to plug in a MSD shift light that you can do this with very easily. The digital 2 step is much smoother than the analog one too. ( We run a stick also)

Question Re: Shift Lghts

Hi
I had one of those and it worked good & I loved it in one car
but when I switched it over to another car with the same Ign. system I had trouble with it blinking and flashing when it was not set to.
MSD said it was R/F interference??
I just took it out.
Did you need any thing special to make it work?
I'd like to put it back in my car.
Thanks
Glen

I have one in the Stocker with a Mallory Hyfire V ,and also in the SG car with a MSD 7AL3.
Neither on has ever given me any trouble.
Possibly your tach feed wire is too close to the coil output wires.
