BAD NEWS for SS/JA CARS!!!!

Well he would be safe if they only ran for the record and then the back up run. It would trigger a review but most SS/AM cars don't run anywhere close to 1.00 under. I would bet most are in the .60 to .70 range. At the end of it, they shouldn't get anything if I understand the system correctly.

Not many can run a 7,but I know one.

There's actually three that have run those numbers this year and quite a few that don't show all of there cards but have the potential to.

Randy Jones: He usually runs out west but his participation is occasionally as he runs some heads up stuff too.

Caro/Wofford: They can run the number with ease

Scott Gove: Only races regionally because I assume he has to be there run his shop

Paul Ricci, John Clegg have fast cars too and I'm sure there are some more that I'm forgetting. Don't know if Lee Sharp has a big motor handy but he could step down some classes and run well.

Ok, we've established that only a couple SS/AM cars can go 7's, one has actually done it, and SS/AH racing is boring....

There won't be a "real" SS/JA car that can get within 3 tenths of Stancil's DP. Look how fast Nowicki has already gone with the same combo!

Good luck to all those who want to try. The smarter play to me seems to be to avoid a HP hit of your own and let the DP's and CJ's work themselves up the food chain.

There's actually three that have run those numbers this year and quite a few that don't show all of there cards but have the potential to.

Who where and when did they go a 7 in SS/AM?

Sorry, I misread your previous post. I was thinking you meant 7 tenths under. No, right now 4 cars capable, none have dipped under. Morse, Gove, Caro, and Jones could if they wanted.

I am a huge fan of SS & S classes. I always enjoyed watching REAL RACE CARS get up and get down. I know of that 305 car in SS/JA, it is an impressive piece for a 305 there is no denying that.That is one BAD WHEEL STANDING HOTROD

. As a spectator I cant wait to watch that car make those untammed mustangs and challengers sweat. I enjoy watching the "underdog" cubic inch cars smack the bigger cubes around. Bigger is not always better! Its ashame nhra wouldnt take the leashes off the old dogs and show the new pups they have alot of training to do

HATS OFF to all competitors in any class for the hard work and dedication in your sport. Its is fun to watch!
