It wasn't the IHRA officials that were disorganized when I was there. It was the locals. I had to ride across the property with the ownner (?) to another gate to use a credit card to pay for my entry. He said "IHRA could take credit cards at the pit gate at the national event, but we aren't wired for that."
Yeah, laptops with wireless cards are really cool. Lol

All said, I had a good time despite Cooter welding me to the starting line with a .002 light. I tried to take the stripe but broke out by .001 and still got there second. Of course had I even come close to having a pulse on the starting line, that would have helped. I will definitely attend more IHRA Nitro Jams and Pro-Ams this year, I think everyone should give it a shot if there is one near you.

We have a Nitro-Jam here at SAR in April.
