I guess I'll slow my car down so it doesn't run quicker than 10.0 then!!! And won't be racing at Maple Grove!!

Makes me glad this is probably my last year. If not I'll damn sure run a class where they aren't required. Considered dropping a class this year to avoide flex plate shields. Is anybody really blowing up SFI flex plates? Seriously?

As for flexplates I can say this. We blew a motor up at memphis a few years ago and it kicked the back portion of the cam out the back of the block. Bent the converter bolts and ears, but aside from an impact mark from the cam the flexplate was fine, albeit a bit warped.

I bought a CSR SuperShield I think its called, for the Volare... transmission and flexplate shield all in one, and its supposed to fit well under stock floors. Not required to have the flexplate shield, but I'm not replacing a blanket every two years.

While I certinally don't want to piss anyone off here, But why wouldn't a guy want to use a diaper, my god it may keep a car off the wall.....destroying the car, or worse, injury or death.
Diapers are darn cheap !!!.............J &J 's are asking less than a 100 bucks, and Dennis's are 169.00. I personally care less about the clean up problems for the tracks.....but only my junk and my driver........ Use our head guys....... Rick

I will not have any problem with the diaper. However will Maple Grove fix their water preculating problem? And will there be a prorated rebate in entry fees if any racer is delayed for the track to be dried after an issue with this reoccuring problem. Our time is just as valuable as their's. I do believe there are other tracks with the same problem that we (racers) were assured are fixed.
